Turtletrash Acquires Seahawk Sanitation’s Residential Operations

WILMINGTON, NC — Turtletrash LLC, Wilmington’s fast-growing local waste and recycling provider, is proud to announce the acquisition of Seahawk Sanitation’s residential operations, effective November 12, 2025.

This strategic merger brings together two locally born companies that share the same values: smaller trucks, awesome employees, dependable service, and a deep commitment to the Wilmington community.

“There's something special about seeing two great local brands - and their mascots - join forces,” said owner Brice Barnett. “The timing couldn’t be better… we’re excited to welcome Seahawk customers into the Turtletrash family right before Thanksgiving.”

Turtletrash emphasized that all Seahawk customers will continue receiving uninterrupted service. The only change - being a possible service day change.

“As we grow, we remain committed to the same personal touch, consistency, and care our customers have always relied on,” Brice Barnett added. “We’re expanding, but we’re still your local crew - and we intend to stay that way.”
